Elon Musk Humanoid Robot - Should We Stop Learning?

Elon Musk Tesla Humanoid Robot

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, recently stated at a presentation on artificial intelligence that he is working on developing a bot to perform "dangerous, repetitive, and boring tasks so that humans don't have to." Isn't it profound? Consider humanoids performing mundane or time-consuming jobs.

He went on to say that in the future, ‘physical work will be a choice.' Those who have been disregarding his views should be aware that bots are already invading our lives through cell phones and smart devices on a daily basis. Several stock exchanges are operated by robots, self-service kiosks are replacing human cashiers, and autonomous automobiles will be here soon.

The Future Has Arrived

Not long ago, we discussed how robotics and 3D avatars will redefine the workplace. Because of COVID-19-related lockdowns, virtual meetings quickly became commonplace, and now Facebook has developed Horizon Workrooms, which include high-tech capabilities for a different kind of productivity experience. There will be additional products and solutions soon enough, and your next meeting may be attended by your immaculately dressed avatar.

Elon Musk believes that in the long run, a Universal Basic Income (UBI) will be required because humanoids may eventually take over tasks for which people are currently compensated. What if the necessity for work vanishes entirely? The concept that robots could make work obsolete — and that a monthly paycheck will arrive in your account — sounds amazing.

Never Stop Learning Never Stop Growing

Sure enough, there are a lot of pros. Maybe robots will free us up to focus on the things that make us human by eliminating the need for people to work? Aside from avoiding "dangerous" duties, avoiding "dangerous" tasks would eliminate the risk of defusing a bomb or make life easier for a differently-abled individual.

Computers can perform logical tasks, but logic is only one component of the human mind; what about empathy, creativity, judgement, and critical thinking? Our curiosity and desire to learn, which keeps us alive, would be extinguished. It's different when you can genuinely experience the agony, tears, anxieties, grief, and joy - that's what makes us human.
